Eat Together

Fantastic local produce to share

No kitchen, doesn’t mean no food!

We are happy to be cooking up a storm in our outdoor kitchen for the time being whilst our main kitchen is out of action. Great ingredients cooked over an open fire.

Now open Thursday to Saturday every evening from 6pm and Sundays 12-3pm.

And we are happy to take private bookings for parties of 6 or more. We can tailor a menu to your requirements.

FRESH INGREDIENTS

The freshest of local ingredients from our suppliers here in South Devon.

Where better to enjoy our seafood, and everything else the South Hams had to offer.

Cooked by our wonderful French chef Dom.

MASTERING FOOD

Theres something special about stripping back cooking and keeping it simple.

Rather than offer an extensive menu we are offering a few dishes on the nights we doing food, cooked with love and passion over our wood and coal fires.

We also are back to serving the famous Tower roast on Sundays.

at The Tower

the Tower Team

We are and have always been a family here at the Tower. This includes our customers as well.

Dom our chef, has been with us for over 11 years now, through good times and bad and we wouldn’t be without him.

Other than Dom, we have an ever changing team of staff due to the nature of the business but we are lucky enough to have a great number of returning staff, mostly when they come back from university and seeing the rest of the world, and it is great to have their input and influence on our little bit of Devon Heaven.

The Family

We have been custodians of the Tower for over 16 years now and we have watched our children grow up here. Now not so little, we have even managed to get them to join the team now and then!

We have not had an easy couple of years, with Covid hitting us hard and then sadly suffering a significant fire last year. We still continue to fight the unjust insurance company who are refusing to pay us on the most absurd grounds. We have however put our literal blood, sweat and tears into recovering from this and we are happy to at last have our doors open again, even if for now in a limited capacity.

We all wish you a warm welcome and invite you to come and spend some time with us all in this very special place.

Best wishes

Thea and Dan
